This wheel-thrown set is made from a high-quality toffee-toned stoneware, decorated with black underglaze and finished in a clear crackle glaze. This is a sample set offered at a softer price due to a minor glaze flaw on the outside, where the underglaze didn’t fully adhere to the clay body. It’s purely visual and does not affect functionality. (It's located on the bottom of the piece).
As each piece is individually crafted, small variations in size, detail, and tone may occur—these are part of the making and bring a sense of uniqueness to every set.
Please note: Crackle glazes may stain over time with use, especially with coffee and tea. This is a natural characteristic of the glaze and part of its evolving beauty. The piece is fully vitrified and safe to use.
